Take a handful of fresh spearmint leaves and place them into a small pot. Fill the pot with water and place it on the stove to boil. Cut a medium sized orange into slices and place the slices in the pot. One the pot boils, remove it from the stove and allow it to cool. Once cool, work the rinse all around your teeth and dental device. Hold the rinse near the roof of your mouth for a few minutes before using your cheeks to move it around. Use the spearmint and orange rinse in the morning and night in order to keep your mouth and rapid palatal expander clean.
